Writer Alex Pakandel and artist I.N.J Culbard continue the Eleventh Doctor and Alice’s adventures through time and space with the newest instalment of the comic run.

TITAN COMICS - DOCTOR WHO 11TH YEAR THREE #9
TITAN COMICS – DOCTOR WHO 11TH YEAR THREE #9

Right from the start of part one of ‘Strange Loops’ we are introduced to the story arc with the reintroduction of the Scream and to a planet, the Doctor has visited in the past but of which he has no recollection. However, the Doctor falls ill, plagued by visions from his past. He soon begins to suspect Gallifreyan involvement.

I.N.J Culbard creates an amazing vision of the planet our travelling trio have landed on accompanied by further amazingly drawn panels. The story development from Alex Pakandel is hugely exciting. There are no wasted lines and every page is a must turn.

Overall a very good issue with a cliff-hanger that raises many questions that we hope will be answered in full in the second and concluding part of ‘Strange Loops’.
