For some time now rumours have been circulating that Royle Family actor Ralf Little is to appear in the new series of Doctor Who.

Well, today Little thought it necessary to put these rumours to rest by taking to video and showing us what his newest project actually is.

Who is Ralf Little?

Little is well known for his role as Anthony Royle in the UK sitcom ‘The Royle Family’. He has appeared in other series such as ‘A Pint of Lager and a Packet of Crips’, ‘Our Zoo’ and ‘The A Word’ alongside ninth Doctor Christopher Eccleston.

No stranger to Doctor Who. Little was the voice of Guy Fawkes in the Doctor Who: The Adventure Games – The Gunpowder Plot. The game is written by Phil Ford (Doctor Who, The Sarah Jane Adventures) and features eleventh Doctor Matt Smith and his companions Amy and Rory Pond (Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill).

Doctor Who is a BBC Cymru Wales produced drama for BBC One. It will return in December 2016 with a Christmas Special, followed by the new series in 2017.
