For those Doctor Who fans out there who’s 2016 highlight was the release of the highly anticipated black and white animated version of the 60’s classic ‘The Power of the Daleks’, will be pleased to know that they can now enjoy it in colour.

The BBC Store have now made the colourised version available to buy. All six episodes are available together for £9.99 or £12.99 in HD.

Lost for 50 years, this newly regenerated stunning hand-drawn animation was released in black and white by BBC Store on the 5th November 2016 at 5:50pm. The exact date and time of the one and only broadcast on the BBC.

The 6-part series takes place immediately after the first regeneration, as the Time Lord and his companions, Polly (Anneke Wills) and Ben (Michael Craze), do battle with an old foe on the mysterious planet Vulcan.

It comes with a synchronised digitally remastered recording of the original 1966 audio.

This exciting project has been lovingly created by the team behind the highly successful animation of the lost Dad’s Army episode A Stripe For Frazer. Character design comes from acclaimed comic book artists Martin Geraghty and Adrian Salmon. The producer and director is Charles Norton.
